The background of the founding of Butler & Concierge Japan and the thoughts on the job of a butler

The reason I started this business was because of a belief I had since childhood that “making someone else happy leads to my own happiness.”

No matter what kind of work it is, if you think thoroughly, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and devote yourself sincerely to someone, there comes a moment when a “job” that is merely a way to receive payment turns into a life’s mission. When I thought about what kind of job I could pursue this in, my answer was “butler.”

The job of a butler is not just to respond to customers’ requests, but to be deeply involved in their lives and sometimes to act beyond the customers’ thoughts and feelings. I believe that the essence of this job is the “bonds” that can only be realized by being close to the customer and becoming a part of their life.

Service that emphasizes customer service and loyalty

Our greatest feature is that we provide our customers with deep satisfaction and peace of mind through our “supreme hospitality.” However, our services are not based solely on high expertise and technology. Rather, our contribution to our customers and unwavering loyalty are the core of the value we provide.

To gain the trust of our customers, we need to not only provide detailed service on a daily basis, but also to be proactive and resonate with their values. We have built trust by not simply satisfying our customers’ needs, but by sensing their expectations and wishes and giving them form.

I and the business manager are dedicated to understanding the situation of all customers, providing dedicated service like family while working closely with the butlers, concierges, and house maids in charge, and building relationships of trust.
